AAV with CMV7 promoter driven EYFP
This AAV expresses EYFP driven by an ubiquitous CMV7 promoter.
The CMV7 promoter is about 0.35 kb in length and is a shortened version of the commonly used CMV promoter. CMV7 has a truncated version of the CMV enhancer. When tested in several cell lines, this promoter provides an expression level that is about 3-5 fold lower than that of the original 0.6Kb CMV promoter.
YFP is the longest wavelength-emitting variants of Aequorea GFP. The enhanced version, EYFP, has become one of the brightest and most widely utilized of the fluorescent proteins with an Excitation/Emission spectrum centered around 514nm/527nm. Other fluorescent proteins with similar emission spectrums include Topaz, Venus, Citrine and mCitrine.
Ready-to-use AAV expressing EYFP driven by an ubiquitous CMV7 promoter. Available in AAV1, AAV2, AAV5, AAV6, AAV8, AAV9, AAV-DJ and other serotypes.
