AAV with mIP1 promoter driven EYFP
This AAV expresses EYFP driven by an islet mIP1 promoter.
The mouse insulin-I promoter, (m)INS1, mIP-I or mIP1, is a promoter fragment of about 1.2 kb in length from the murine preproinsulin-I gene. It drives transgene expression in beta- cells of the pancreas, in the research field of diabetes and obesity.
YFP is the longest wavelength-emitting variants of Aequorea GFP. The enhanced version, EYFP, has become one of the brightest and most widely utilized of the fluorescent proteins with an Excitation/Emission spectrum centered around 514nm/527nm. Other fluorescent proteins with similar emission spectrums include Topaz, Venus, Citrine and mCitrine.
Ready-to-use AAV expressing EYFP driven by an islet mIP1 promoter. Available in AAV1, AAV2, AAV5, AAV6, AAV8, AAV9, AAV-DJ and other serotypes.
