AAV with mIP1 promoter driven mCitrine
This AAV expresses mCitrine driven by an islet mIP1 promoter.
The mouse insulin-I promoter, (m)INS1, mIP-I or mIP1, is a promoter fragment of about 1.2 kb in length from the murine preproinsulin-I gene. It drives transgene expression in beta- cells of the pancreas, in the research field of diabetes and obesity.
mCitrine, like Venus, is derived from YFP, with increased brightness and stability. mCitrine has an Excitation/Emission spectrum of 516nm/529nm which is almost identical to that of EYFP, Venus and Topaz.

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
