AAV with EF1a promoter driven EYFP
This AAV expresses EYFP driven by an ubiquitous EF1a promoter.
The 1.2 Kb EF1α promoter is a commonly used, constitutive promoter derived from human elongation factor-1 alpha (EF1α). It is often used in conditions where the other constitutive promoters, such as CMV, have diminished activity or have been silenced.
YFP is the longest wavelength-emitting variants of Aequorea GFP. The enhanced version, EYFP, has become one of the brightest and most widely utilized of the fluorescent proteins with an Excitation/Emission spectrum centered around 514nm/527nm. Other fluorescent proteins with similar emission spectrums include Topaz, Venus, Citrine and mCitrine.
Ready-to-use AAV expressing EYFP driven by an ubiquitous EF1a promoter. Available in AAV1, AAV2, AAV5, AAV6, AAV8, AAV9, AAV-DJ and other serotypes.
