This is an Adenovirus expressing shRNA for silencing of Human COX14.
shADV-202576
Ad-h-C12ORF62-shRNA
Ready-to-use Adenovirus expressing shRNA for silencing of Human COX14 (COX14, cytochrome c oxidase assembly factor). Available with optional GFP reporter or cell-specific promoter.
Gene Reference Data
Alternate Names
C12orf62
Description (Vector)
COX14 encodes a small single-pass transmembrane protein that localizes to mitochondria. This protein may play a role in coordinating the early steps of cytochrome c odixase (COX; also known as complex IV) subunit assembly and, in particular, the synthesis and assembly of the COX I subunit of the holoenzyme. Mutations in this gene have been associated with mitochondrial complex IV deficiency. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
