Alternate Names
activated RNA polymerase II transcription cofactor 4; activated RNA polymerase II transcriptional coactivator p15; p14; P15; PC4; positive cofactor 4; SUB1 homolog
Description (eCommerce)
PC4 is a multifunctional transcriptional coactivator that plays an important role in transcription, repair, and replication. PC4 interacts with general transcription factors, DNA repair factors, and mRNA processing factors to influence transcription initiation, coactivation, polyadenylation, transcription termination, and transcriptional repression. PC4 has been demonstrated to be a DNA binding protein and a bona fide component of chromatin with chromatin-compacting ability.

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
