Tamoxifen inducible Cre (CreERT2-GFP) Adenovirus
A mutated form of estrogen ligand-binding domain (ERT2) that binds to synthetic antagonists (such as tamoxifen or its derivative 4-hydroxy-tamoxifen) but not to circulating estrogens was fused to the Cre recombinase (Cre) to create the CreERT2, which requires the presence of tamoxifen for Cre recombinase activity. Therefore it makes possible to induce the recombination in cells with tamoxifen.
This adenovirus expresses both CreERT2 and eGFP under the same CMV promoter, and the 2 genes are separated by a 2A polypeptide.

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
