AAV with CamKII promoter driven Mito-roGFP1
This AAV expresses Mito-roGFP1 driven by a neuron CamKII promoter.
This 1.3 Kb promoter is derived from the murine α-Calcium/calmodulin-dependent kinase II (CaMKII), a gene with expression restricted to excitatory neurons in the neocortex and hippocampus. In cortical neurons, it was shown that the promoter activity of CaMKII(1.3) is about double that of CaMKII(2.4), probably due to some inhibitory element(s).
The mitochondrial targeting sequence of human pyruvate dehydrogenase alpha 1 (PDHA1) is fused in-frame with the redox-sensitive green fluorescent protein (roGFP1). The Mito-roGFP1 is a biosensor for investigating the mitochondrial reduction-oxidation potential.
Ready-to-use AAV expressing Mito-roGFP1 driven by a neuron CamKII promoter. Available in AAV1, AAV2, AAV5, AAV6, AAV8, AAV9, AAV-DJ and other serotypes.
