AAV with mIP2 promoter driven Mito-roGFP1
This AAV expresses Mito-roGFP1 driven by an islet mIP2 promoter.
This promoter is based on the 1.1 Kb regulatory region of mouse pre-proinsulin II gene, also known as ins2, ins-2, ins-II, insulin-II, or Mody4. It is commonly used for beta cell-specific gene expression in the pancreatic islet. (m)INS2 promoter is also referred as the mIP2 or mIP2 promoter.
The mitochondrial targeting sequence of human pyruvate dehydrogenase alpha 1 (PDHA1) is fused in-frame with the redox-sensitive green fluorescent protein (roGFP1). The Mito-roGFP1 is a biosensor for investigating the mitochondrial reduction-oxidation potential.
Ready-to-use AAV expressing Mito-roGFP1 driven by an islet mIP2 promoter. Available in AAV1, AAV2, AAV5, AAV6, AAV8, AAV9, AAV-DJ and other serotypes.
