AAV with CMV7 promoter driven EBFP2
This AAV expresses EBFP2 driven by an ubiquitous CMV7 promoter.
The CMV7 promoter is about 0.35 kb in length and is a shortened version of the commonly used CMV promoter. CMV7 has a truncated version of the CMV enhancer. When tested in several cell lines, this promoter provides an expression level that is about 3-5 fold lower than that of the original 0.6Kb CMV promoter.
EBFP2 is new version of blue fluorescent protein (BFP), with an Excitation/Emission spectrum of 380nm/448nm. EBFP2 is the brightest and most photo-stable of the BFPs; it is useful for situations in which a blue probe is required, especially when two-photon excitation is used.
Ready-to-use AAV expressing EBFP2 driven by an ubiquitous CMV7 promoter. Available in AAV1, AAV2, AAV5, AAV6, AAV8, AAV9, AAV-DJ and other serotypes.
