AAV with CMV-IVS promoter driven EBFP2
This AAV expresses EBFP2 driven by an ubiquitous CMV-IVS promoter.
The CMV-IVS promoter is about 1.1 kb in length and consists of the commonly used CMV promoter/enhancer and the intron (IVS) from beta-globin . The presence of intron elements was shown to give a higher level of transgene expression than that of the original CMV promoter/enhancer.
EBFP2 is new version of blue fluorescent protein (BFP), with an Excitation/Emission spectrum of 380nm/448nm. EBFP2 is the brightest and most photo-stable of the BFPs; it is useful for situations in which a blue probe is required, especially when two-photon excitation is used.
Ready-to-use AAV expressing EBFP2 driven by an ubiquitous CMV-IVS promoter. Available in AAV1, AAV2, AAV5, AAV6, AAV8, AAV9, AAV-DJ and other serotypes.
