Description (eCommerce)
TRIP13 (thyroid hormone receptor interactor 13) plays a key role in chromosome recombination and chromosome structure development during meiosis. TRIP13 is required at early steps in meiotic recombination that leads to non-crossovers pathways. It is also needed for efficient completion of homologous synapsis by influencing crossover distribution along the chromosomes affecting both crossovers and non-crossovers pathways. [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/ Q15645].
Description (Vector)
TRIP13 encodes a protein that interacts with thyroid hormone receptors, also known as hormone-dependent transcription factors. The gene product interacts specifically with the ligand binding domain. TRIP13 is one of several that may play a role in early-stage non-small cell lung cancer.

About Storage Conditions

All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity. We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
