Description (eCommerce)
Rho guanine nucleotide exchange factor 28 (p190RhoGEF) Functions as a RHOA-specific guanine nucleotide exchange factor regulating signaling pathways downstream of integrins and growth factor receptors. p190RhoGEF functions in axonal branching, synapse formation and dendritic morphogenesis. p190RhoGEF also functions in focal adhesion formation, cell motility and B-lymphocytes activation. It may regulate NEFL expression and aggregation and play a role in apoptosis (by similarity) [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/Q9HAU5].
Description (Vector)
ARHGEF28 encodes a member of the Rho guanine nucleotide exchange factor family. The encoded protein interacts with low molecular weight neurofilament mRNA and may be involved in the formation of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis neurofilament aggregates. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants.

About Storage Conditions

All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity. We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
