This is an Adenovirus expressing shRNA for silencing of Human PRSS12.
shADV-220016
Ad-h-PRSS12-shRNA
Ready-to-use Adenovirus expressing shRNA for silencing of Human PRSS12 (protease, serine 12). Available with optional GFP reporter or cell-specific promoter.

Alternate Names
BSSP-3; BSSP3; MRT1
Description (Vector)
PRSS12 encodes a member of the trypsin family of serine proteases. Studies in mouse suggest that the encoded enzyme may be involved in structural reorganizations associated with learning and memory. The enzyme is also expressed in Leydig cells in the testis, but its function in this tissue is unknown. Defects in this gene are a cause of mental retardation autosomal recessive type 1 (MRT1).

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
