This is an Adenovirus expressing shRNA for silencing of Human LDHA.
shADV-213785
Ad-h-LDHA-shRNA
Ready-to-use Adenovirus expressing shRNA for silencing of Human LDHA (lactate dehydrogenase A). Available with optional GFP reporter or cell-specific promoter.
Gene Reference Data
Alternate Names
GSD11; HEL-S-133P; LDHM; PIG19
Description (Vector)
LDHA catalyzes the conversion of L-lactate and NAD to pyruvate and NADH in the final step of anaerobic glycolysis. The protein is found predominantly in muscle tissue and belongs to the lactate dehydrogenase family. Mutations in this gene have been linked to exertional myoglobinuria. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. The human genome contains several non-transcribed pseudogenes of this gene.

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
