Alternate Names
BBAP; B-lymphoma- and BAL-associated protein; deltex 3 like, E3 ubiquitin ligase; deltex 3-like; E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase DTX3L; Protein deltex-3-like; rhysin2; rhysin-2; RING-type E3 ubiquitin transferase DTX3L; RNF143
Description (eCommerce)
The c-terminal of BBAP (B-lymphoma and BAL-binding protein) is highly homologous to the DTX family of proteins and like the DTX family of proteins, functions as an E3 ubiquitin ligase. BBAP associates with BAL1 a transcription factor linked to poor outcome in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). BAL1 and BBAP expression has been shown to be coregulated, and BBAP has been found to regulate the subcellular localization of BAL1.
Description (Vector)
DTX3L functions as an E3 ubiquitin ligase (Takeyama et al., 2003 (PubMed 12670957)).(supplied by OMIM, Nov 2009)

About Storage Conditions

All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity. We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
