Description (eCommerce)
Cdc42 GTPase-activating protein (Cdc42GAP) is also known as p50RhoGAP and ARHGAP1. Cdc42GAP functions as a negative regulator of the Rho GTPase, Cdc42, by catalyzing the hydrolysis of GTP to GDP by Cdc42. Cdc42 activity is proposed to be involved in multiple cellular activities such as motility, survival, and genomic stability.
Description (Vector)
ARHGAP1 encodes a member of a large family of proteins that activate Rho-type guanosine triphosphate (GTP) metabolizing enzymes. The encoded protein contains a SRC homology 3 domain and interacts with Bcl-2-associated protein family members.

About Storage Conditions

All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity. We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
