gene for apoptosis and differentiation in epithelia; jade family PHD finger protein 1; PHD finger protein 17; PHD protein Jade-1; PHF17; protein Jade-1
Description (eCommerce)
Gene for apoptosis and differentiation-1 (Jade-1) is a component of the HBO1 complex which has a histone H4-specific acetyltransferase activity, a reduced activity toward histone H3, and is responsible for the bulk of histone H4 acetylation in vivo. As a transcriptional coactivator it may also promote acetylation of nucleosomal histone H4 by KAT5. Jade-1 also Promotes apoptosis and may act as a renal tumor suppressor [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/ Q6IE81].

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
