Alternate Names
bA62C3.3; bA62C3.4; C9orf34; NOP132; nucleolar protein 8; nucleolar protein Nop132
Description (eCommerce)
Nucleolar protein 132 (NOP132) was identified as a protein that interacts with the G protein, RRAG A (RAG A)/GTR1p, a member of the Ras-like small G protein family. NOP132 has been shown to interact mainly with proteins involved in ribosome biogenesis such as DDX47. NOP132 may play a role in recruiting pre-RNA processing proteins to regions of rRNA transcription in the nucleus.
Description (Vector)
NOL8 binds Ras-related GTP-binding proteins (see MIM 608267) and plays a role in cell growth (Sekiguchi et al., 2004 (PubMed 14660641)).(supplied by OMIM, Mar 2008)

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
