Alternate Names
amyloid-beta A4 precursor protein-binding family B member 2; FE65L; FE65L1; Fe65-like 1; protein Fe65-like 1
Description (eCommerce)
Amyloid beta A4 precursor protein-binding family B member 2 (APBB2) interacts with the cytoplasmic domains of amyloid beta (A4) precursor protein and amyloid beta (A4) precursor-like protein 2. APBB2 contains two phosphotyrosine binding (PTB) domains, which are thought to function in signal transduction[taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 323)].
Description (Vector)
APBB2 interacts with the cytoplasmic domains of amyloid beta (A4) precursor protein and amyloid beta (A4) precursor-like protein 2. This protein contains two phosphotyrosine binding (PTB) domains, which are thought to function in signal transduction. Polymorphisms in this gene have been associated with Alzheimer's disease. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.

About Storage Conditions

All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity. We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
