Alternate Names
ATP/GTP-binding protein 1; carboxypeptidase-tubulin; CCP1; cytosolic carboxypeptidase 1; nervous system nuclear protein induced by axotomy protein 1 homolog; NNA1; soluble carboxypeptidase; tubulinyl-Tyr carboxypeptidase; tyrosine carboxypeptidase
Description (eCommerce)
AGTPBP1 is a metallocarboxypeptidase that mediates deglutamylation of target proteins. AGTB1 catalyzes the deglutamylation of polyglutamate side chains generated by post-translational polyglutamylation in proteins such as tubulins [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 23287)].
Description (Vector)
NNA1 is a zinc carboxypeptidase that contains nuclear localization signals and an ATP/GTP-binding motif that was initially cloned from regenerating spinal cord neurons of the mouse.(supplied by OMIM, Jul 2002)

About Storage Conditions

All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity. We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
