Description (eCommerce)
ZNF638/NP220 is a Cys2-His2 zinc-finger DNA-binding protein that also bears repeats of an RNA recognition motif (RRM). ZNF638/NP220 has been reported to be structurally and functionally similar to matrin 3, a nuclear matrix protein involved in RNA processing.
Description (Vector)
ZNF638 is a nucleoplasmic protein. It binds cytidine-rich sequences in double-stranded DNA. This protein has three types of domains: MH1, MH2 (repeated three times) and MH3. It is associated with packaging, transferring, or processing transcripts. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for this gene, but the biological validity of some variants has not been determined.

About Storage Conditions

All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity. We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
