AF6 was identified as part of a fusion with MLL (mixed lineage leukemia) in a t(6;11) genetic translocation. AF6 is also known as afadin (a splicing variant of AF6 found at adherins junction). AF6/afadin is an actin filament binding protein that binds to nectin at cadherin-based cell-cell adherens junctions and regulates cell-cell adhesion by mediating Ras signaling.
Description (Vector)
MLLT4 encodes a multi-domain protein involved in signaling and organization of cell junctions during embryogenesis. It has also been identified as the fusion partner of acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL-1) gene, involved in acute myeloid leukemias with t(6;11)(q27;q23) translocation. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described for this gene, however, not all have been fully characterized.

About Storage Conditions
