Description (eCommerce)
JMJD1A/JHDM2A is a member of the jumonji (jmj) domain containing gene family of histone demethylases that plays a role in the regulation of chromatin dynamics and influences transcriptional activation and suppression. JMJD1A/JHDM2A specifically demethylates mono- and dimethyl-histone 3 lysine 9. Demethylation of histones by JMJD1A has been shown to facilitate transcriptional activation by the androgen receptor and promote transcription of smooth muscle cell differentiation marker.
Description (Vector)
KDM3A encodes a zinc finger protein that contains a jumonji domain and may play a role in hormone-dependent transcriptional activation. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
