Description (eCommerce)
The gene GADD45GIP1, also known as CRIF1, encodes the nuclear-localized protein growth arrest and DNA damage-inducible proteins-interacting protein 1. This protein regulates the cell cycle by inhibiting G1 to S phase progression by inhibiting cyclin-dependent kinases. The encoded protein may interact with other cell cycle regulators [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 90480) and UniProtKB (Entry: Q8TAE8)].
Description (Vector)
GADD45GIP1 encodes a nuclear-localized protein that may be induced by p53 and regulates the cell cycle by inhibiting G1 to S phase progression. The encoded protein may interact with other cell cycle regulators.

About Storage Conditions

All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity. We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
