Alternate Names
Bruton agammaglobulinemia tyrosine kinase inhibitor; BTBD26; BTK-binding protein; BTKI; IBtk; inhibitor of Bruton tyrosine kinase; inhibitor of Bruton's tyrosine kinase-alpha; inhibitor of Bruton's tyrosine kinase-beta; inhibitor of Bruton's tyrosine kinase-gamma
Description (eCommerce)
Inhibitor of Bruton tyrosine kinase (IBtk) acts as an inhibitor of BTK tyrosine kinase activity, thereby playing a role in B-cell development. IBtk down-regulates BTK kinase activity, leading to interference with BTK-mediated calcium mobilization and NF-kappa-B-driven transcription [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/ Q9P2D0].
Description (Vector)
IBTK binds to Bruton's tyrosine kinase (BTK) and downregulates BTK's kinase activity. In addition, the encoded protein disrupts BTK-mediated calcium mobilization and negatively regulates the activation of nuclear factor-kappa-B-driven transcription.

About Storage Conditions

All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity. We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
