Nuclear factor of activated T-cells, cytoplasmic, calcineurin-dependent 3 Adenovirus
The NFAT (nuclear factor of activated T cells) family of transcription factors include the cytoplasmic NFAT transcription factors (NFATc1, NFATc2, NFATc3, NFATc4 and NFATc5) and nuclear NFAT (NFATn). NFATc1 is present in uninduced cells and translocates to the nucleus upon calcium mobilization. NFATc3 is preferentially expressed in the thymus and may be involved in the regulation of gene expression in T cells and immature thymocytes. In general, NFATs are involved in the regulation of cytokine promoter function.

Description (eCommerce)
Nuclear factor of activated T cells, cytoplasmic 1(NFATc3) is a member of the NFAT family of transcription factors which includes NFAT1 (NFATp/NFATc2), NFAT2 (NFATc/NFATc1), NFAT3 (NFATc4), and NFAT4 (NFATc3/NFATx). Different members of the NFAT family are expressed in a distinct but overlapping set of cell types. NFATc3 plays a role in the inducible expression of cytokine genes in T-cells, especially in the induction of IL-2.
Description (Vector)
The product of this gene is a member of the nuclear factors of activated T cells DNA-binding transcription complex. This complex consists of at least two components: a preexisting cytosolic component that translocates to the nucleus upon T cell receptor (TCR) stimulation and an inducible nuclear component. Other members of this family participate to form this complex also. The product of this gene plays a role in the regulation of gene expression in T cells and immature thymocytes. Several transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified for this gene.

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
