Alternate Names
cleavage and polyadenylation specific factor 3, 73kDa; Cleavage and polyadenylation specificity factor 73 kDa subunit; cleavage and polyadenylation specificity factor subunit 3; CPSF 73 kDa subunit; CPSF73; CPSF-73; mRNA 3'-end-processing endonuclease CPSF-73
Description (eCommerce)
CPSF73 is the 73 kDa subunit of the cleavage and polyadenylation specificity factor (CPSF) complex that functions in pre-mRNA-3’-end formation. CPSF73 has been implicated as the endonuclease component of the CPSF complex for pre-mRNA-3’ end processing.
Description (Vector)
Most eukaryotic mRNA precursors (pre-mRNAs) undergo extensive maturational processing, including cleavage and polyadenylation at the 3-prime end. CPSF3 encodes the 73-kD subunit of the cleavage and polyadenylation specificity factor (CPSF) and is the pre-mRNA 3-prime-end-processing endonuclease (Mandel et al., 2006 (PubMed 17128255)).(supplied by OMIM, Jul 2010)

About Storage Conditions

All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity. We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
