Alternate Names
thymocyte selection-associated high mobility group box protein TOX; thymus high mobility group box protein TOX; TOX1
Description (eCommerce)
The thymocyte selection-associated high mobility group box protein TOX is a member of the conserved high-motility group (HMG)-box superfamily. HMG boxes are DNA binding domains found in many eukaryotic proteins involved in chromatin assembly, transcription and replication. TOX functions to regulate T-cell development in the thymus. [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 9760)].
Description (Vector)
TOX contains a HMG box DNA binding domain. HMG boxes are found in many eukaryotic proteins involved in chromatin assembly, transcription and replication. This protein may function to regulate T-cell development.

About Storage Conditions

All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity. We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
