Ready-to-use Adenovirus expressing Human GTSE1 (G2 and S-phase expressed 1). Available with optional GFP reporter or cell-specific promoter.
Gene Reference Data
Alternate Names
B99; G2 and S phase-expressed protein 1; G-2 and S-phase expressed 1; GTSE-1; protein B99 homolog
Description (eCommerce)
GTSE1 (G-2 and S-phase expressed 1) is only expressed in the S and G2 phases of the cell cycle, where it colocalizes with cytoplasmic tubulin and microtubules. In response to DNA damage, GTSE1 accumulates in the nucleus and binds the tumor suppressor protein p53, shuttling it out of the nucleus and repressing its ability to induce apoptosis [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (GeneID: 51512)].
Description (Vector)

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
