AAV with CMV-IVS promoter driven Mito-roGFP1
This AAV expresses Mito-roGFP1 driven by an ubiquitous CMV-IVS promoter.
The CMV-IVS promoter is about 1.1 kb in length and consists of the commonly used CMV promoter/enhancer and the intron (IVS) from beta-globin . The presence of intron elements was shown to give a higher level of transgene expression than that of the original CMV promoter/enhancer.
The mitochondrial targeting sequence of human pyruvate dehydrogenase alpha 1 (PDHA1) is fused in-frame with the redox-sensitive green fluorescent protein (roGFP1). The Mito-roGFP1 is a biosensor for investigating the mitochondrial reduction-oxidation potential.
Ready-to-use AAV expressing Mito-roGFP1 driven by an ubiquitous CMV-IVS promoter. Available in AAV1, AAV2, AAV5, AAV6, AAV8, AAV9, AAV-DJ and other serotypes.
