Alternate Names
COG complex subunit 3; Component of oligomeric Golgi complex 3; conserved oligomeric Golgi complex subunit 3; p94; SEC34; tethering factor SEC34; vesicle-docking protein SEC34 homolog
Description (eCommerce)
Conserved oligomeric Golgi complex subunit 3 (COG3) is a component of the conserved oligomeric Golgi (COG) complex which is composed of eight different subunits and is required for normal Golgi morphology and localization. Defects in the COG complex result in multiple deficiencies in protein glycosylation. CO3G is involved in ER-Golgi transport [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 83548)].
Description (Vector)
COG3 encodes a component of the conserved oligomeric Golgi (COG) complex which is composed of eight different subunits and is required for normal Golgi morphology and localization. Defects in the COG complex result in multiple deficiencies in protein glycosylation. The protein encoded by this gene is involved in ER-Golgi transport.

About Storage Conditions

All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity. We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
