ATRIP (ATR-interacting protein) forms a complex with the serine-threonine kinase ATR (ataxia-telangiectasia mutated rad-3 related) to function in the DNA damage response. Through its interaction with replication protein A (RPA), ATRIP aids the recruitment of ATR to regions of DNA damage. ATR-ATRIP interacts with and is regulated by Rad17 and the 9-1-1 complexes.
Description (Vector)
ATRIP encodes an essential component of the DNA damage checkpoint. The encoded protein binds to single-stranded DNA coated with replication protein A. The protein also interacts with the ataxia telangiectasia and Rad3 related protein kinase, resulting in its accumulation at intranuclear foci induced by DNA damage. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
