Description (eCommerce)
Tax1-binding protein 1 (TAX1BP1) inhibits TNF-induced apoptosis by mediating the TNFAIP3 anti-apoptotic activity. TAX1BP1 is degraded by caspase-3-like family proteins upon TNF-induced apoptosis. TAX1BP1 may also play a role in the pro-inflammatory cytokine IL-1 signaling cascade [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/Q86VP1].
Description (Vector)
TAX1BP1 encodes a HTLV-1 tax1 binding protein. The encoded protein interacts with TNFAIP3, and inhibits TNF-induced apoptosis by mediating the TNFAIP3 anti-apoptotic activity. Degradation of this protein by caspase-3-like family proteins is associated with apoptosis induced by TNF. This protein may also have a role in the inhibition of inflammatory signaling pathways. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
