Gene Reference Data
Alternate Names
GTP-binding protein RAB21; ras-related protein Rab-21
Description (eCommerce)
RAB21 belongs to the Rab family of monomeric GTPases, which are involved in the control of cellular membrane traffic. RAB21 plays a role in the targeted trafficking of integrins via its association with integrin alpha tails. As a consequence, RAB21 is involved in the regulation of cell adhesion and migration [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 23011)].
Description (Vector)
RAB21 belongs to the RAB family of small GTP-binding proteins that regulate intracellular vesicle targeting (Opdam et al., 2000 (PubMed 10887961)).(supplied by OMIM, Nov 2008)

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
