Alternate Names
caveolae-associated protein 3; cavin-3; HSRBC; PRKCDBP; protein kinase C delta binding protein; Protein kinase C delta-binding protein; sdr-related gene product that binds to c-kinase; serum deprivation response factor-related gene product that binds to C-kinase; SRBC
Description (eCommerce)
Serum deprivation response factor-related gene product that binds to C-kinase (SRBC) was identified as a binding protein of the protein kinase C, delta (PRKCD). The expression of this gene in cultured cell lines is strongly induced by serum starvation. The expression of this protein was found to be down-regulated in various cancer cell lines, suggesting the possible tumor suppressor function of this protein [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (GeneID:112464)].

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
