Description (eCommerce)
Cytoplasmic dynein 1 light intermediate chain 1 (DYNC1LI1) acts as one of several non-catalytic accessory components of the cytoplasmic dynein 1 complex that are thought to be involved in linking dynein to cargos and to adapter proteins that regulate dynein function. Cytoplasmic dynein 1 acts as a motor for the intracellular retrograde motility of vesicles and organelles along microtubules. It may play a role in binding dynein to membranous organelles or chromosomes and is probably involved in the microtubule-dependent transport of pericentrin. DYNC1LI1 Is required for progress through the spindle assembly checkpoint [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/Q9Y6G9].

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
