Description (eCommerce)
CDT1 is involved in the formation of pre-replicative complexes (preRC) at origins of replication. Under tight regulation, CDT1 associates with chromatin during G1 in a dynamic manner to promote the loading of mini-chromosome maintenance (MCM) complex in preparation for replication. CDT1 is negatively regulated by ubiquitin-directed degradation and has been demonstrated to be protected from ubiquitination by the protein geminin.
Description (Vector)
CDT1 is involved in the formation of the pre-replication complex that is necessary for DNA replication. The encoded protein can bind geminin, which prevents replication and may function to prevent this protein from initiating replication at inappropriate origins. Phosphorylation of this protein by cyclin A-dependent kinases results in degradation of the protein.

About Storage Conditions

All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity. We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
