This is an Adenovirus expressing shRNA for silencing of Mouse Maz.
shADV-264306
Ad-m-MAZ-shRNA
Ready-to-use Adenovirus expressing shRNA for silencing of Mouse Maz (MYC-associated zinc finger protein (purine-binding transcription factor)). Available with optional GFP reporter or cell-specific promoter.
Gene Reference Data
Alternate Names
MAZI; Pur-1; PUR1; SAF-1; SAF-2
Description (Vector)
MAZ may function as a transcription factor with dual roles in transcription initiation and termination. Binds to two sites, ME1a1 and ME1a2, within the MYC promoter having greater affinity for the former. Also binds to multiple G/C-rich sites within the promoter of the Sp1 family of transcription factors.

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
