Description (eCommerce)
Tricho-rhino-phalangeal syndrome type I protein (TRPS1) is a transcription factor that represses GATA-regulated genes and binds to a dynein light chain protein. Binding of TRPS1 to the dynein light chain protein affects binding to GATA consensus sequences and suppresses its transcriptional activity. Defects in the TRPS1 gene are a cause of tricho-rhino-phalangeal syndrome (TRPS) types I-III [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 7227)].
Description (Vector)
TRPS1 encodes a transcription factor that represses GATA-regulated genes and binds to a dynein light chain protein. Binding of the encoded protein to the dynein light chain protein affects binding to GATA consensus sequences and suppresses its transcriptional activity. Defects in this gene are a cause of tricho-rhino-phalangeal syndrome (TRPS) types I-III.

About Storage Conditions

All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity. We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
