Alternate Names
IL1RL1-binding protein; Il1rl1l; IL1RL1LG; interleukin 1 receptor-like 1 ligand; Interleukin-1 receptor-like 1 ligand; p24 family protein gamma-1; p24g1; p24gamma1; putative T1/ST2 receptor-binding protein; Tp24; transmembrane emp24 domain-containing protein 1; transmembrane emp24 protein transport domain containing 1
Description (eCommerce)
Transmembrane emp24 domain-containing protein 1 (TMED1) is a potential role in vesicular protein trafficking, mainly in the early secretory pathway. May act as a cargo receptor at the lumenal side for incorporation of secretory cargo molecules into transport vesicles and may be involved in vesicle coat formation at the cytoplasmic side [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/Q13445].
Description (Vector)
TMED1 was identified by its interaction with interleukin 1 receptor-like 1 (IL1RL1). This protein lacks any similarity to other interleukin 1 ligands. The functional significance of its interaction with IL1RL1 is not known.

About Storage Conditions

All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity. We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
