Description (eCommerce)
PolE3/p17 is a subunit of DNA polymerase epsilon that plays a role in DNA replication and repair. PolE3/p17 contains histone-fold motifs which play a role in protein-protein and protein-DNA interactions. PolE3/p17 interacts with CHRAC1 (chromatin assembly complex 1), ACF1, and ISWI/SNF2H proteins to form the CHRAC ISWI chromatin-remodeling complex.
Description (Vector)
POLE3 is a histone-fold protein that interacts with other histone-fold proteins to bind DNA in a sequence-independent manner. These histone-fold protein dimers combine within larger enzymatic complexes for DNA transcription, replication, and packaging.(supplied by OMIM, Apr 2004)

About Storage Conditions

All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity. We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
