Description (eCommerce)
Pleiotropic regulator 1 (PLRG1) has been shown to be a part of sub-spliceosomal protein complexes. It is highly conserved across species and is essential for pre-mRNA splicing. PLRG1 interacts with human CDC5. This interaction has also been shown to be essential to pre-mRNA splicing.
Description (Vector)
PLRG1 encodes a core component of the cell division cycle 5-like (CDC5L) complex. The CDC5L complex is part of the spliceosome and is required for pre-mRNA splicing. The encoded protein plays a critical role in alternative splice site selection. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed for this gene.

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
