Alternate Names
cell division protein kinase 16; cyclin-dependent kinase 16; PCTAIRE; PCTAIRE1; PCTAIRE-motif protein kinase 1; PCTGAIRE; PCTK1; serine/threonine-protein kinase PCTAIRE-1; testis secretory sperm-binding protein Li 224n
Description (eCommerce)
PCTAIRE1 belongs to the cdc2/cdkx subfamily of the ser/thr family of protein kinases. It may play a role in signal transduction cascades in terminally differentiated cells; in exocytosis; and in transport of secretory cargo from the endoplasmic reticulum [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 5127)].
Description (Vector)
CDK16 belongs to the cdc2/cdkx subfamily of the ser/thr family of protein kinases. It may play a role in signal transduction cascades in terminally differentiated cells; in exocytosis; and in transport of secretory cargo from the endoplasmic reticulum. This gene is thought to escape X inactivation. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.

About Storage Conditions

All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity. We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
