Alternate Names
ARPP-21; cAMP regulated phosphoprotein 21kDa; cAMP-regulated phosphoprotein 21; cyclic AMP-regulated phosphoprotein, 21 kD; R3H domain containing 3; R3HDM3; RCS; TARPP; thymocyte cAMP-regulated phosphoprotein
Description (eCommerce)
ARPP21 is a cAMP-regulated phosphoprotein. ARPP21 is enriched in the caudate nucleus and cerebellar cortex. A similar protein in mouse may be involved in regulating the effects of dopamine in the basal ganglia [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 10777)].
Description (Vector)
ARPP21 encodes a cAMP-regulated phosphoprotein. The encoded protein is enriched in the caudate nucleus and cerebellar cortex. A similar protein in mouse may be involved in regulating the effects of dopamine in the basal ganglia. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants.

About Storage Conditions

All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity. We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
