The 45kDa nuclear factor of activated T-cells (NF45) functions as part of a heterodimeric complex with NF90 to form the transcription factor, NFAT (nuclear factor of activated T-cells). The NF45/NF90 complex binds the interleukin-2 promoter and regulates transcription of the IL2 gene during T-cell activation. It has also been shown that the NF45/NF90 complex can function as a negative regulator of miRNA biogenesis.

ILF2 is the 45 kDa component of nuclear factor of activated T-cells (NFAT), a heterodimer of 45 kDa and 90 kDa proteins. NFAT is a transcription factor required for T-cell expression of the interleukin 2 gene. It also binds RNA and is an essential component for encapsidation and protein priming of hepatitis B viral polymerase. The complex has been shown to repair DNA breaks by nonhomologous end joining and can also negatively regulate the microRNA processing pathway. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. Related pseudogenes have been found on chromosomes 3 and 14.

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
