Description (Vector)
ZNF124 encodes a member of the Kruppel-type (C2H2) zinc finger protein family. It has a KRAB-A box at its amino terminus and seven consecutively repeated zinc finger motifs at its carboxy terminus. Expression of this gene is increased after vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) stimulation in human leukemia cell lines and its expression inhibits apoptotic cell death induced by irradiation or exposure to etoposide. These attributes suggest that this protein may act as a transcription factor. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding distinct proteins. Additional transcript variants have been described for this gene but their biological validity has not been confirmed. ZNF124 has a pseudogene on chromosome 14.

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
