Alternate Names
Leo1 Paf1/RNA polymerase II complex component; Leo1, Paf1/RNA polymerase II complex component, homolog; RDL; replicative senescence down-regulated leo1-like protein; RNA polymerase-associated protein LEO1
Description (eCommerce)
Leo1 is a component of the Paf/RNA polymerase II complex which consists of at least Leo1, CDC73, PAF1, and CTR9. The PAF1/RNA polymerase II complex plays a role in transcriptional initiation and elongation, histone methylation, and RNA processing.
Description (Vector)
LEO1, parafibromin (CDC73; MIM 607393), CTR9 (MIM 609366), and PAF1 (MIM 610506) form the PAF protein complex that associates with the RNA polymerase II subunit POLR2A (MIM 180660) and with a histone methyltransferase complex (Rozenblatt-Rosen et al., 2005 (PubMed 15632063)).(supplied by OMIM, Mar 2008)

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
