Alternate Names
interleukin-1 receptor-associated kinase 1; IRAK; IRAK-1; pelle; Pelle homolog
Description (eCommerce)
Interleukin-1 receptor-associated kinase 1 (IRAK1) is one of two putative serine/threonine kinases that become associated with the interleukin-1 receptor (IL1R) upon stimulation. IRAK1 is partially responsible for IL1-induced upregulation of the transcription factor NF-kappa B [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 3654)].
Description (Vector)
IRAK1 encodes the interleukin-1 receptor-associated kinase 1, one of two putative serine/threonine kinases that become associated with the interleukin-1 receptor (IL1R) upon stimulation. IRAK1 is partially responsible for IL1-induced upregulation of the transcription factor NF-kappa B. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.

About Storage Conditions

All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity. We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
