This is an AAV expressing shRNA for silencing of Human HPS6.
shAAV-211506
AAV-h-HPS6-shRNA
Ready-to-use AAV expressing shRNA for silencing of Human HPS6 (HPS6, biogenesis of lysosomal organelles complex 2 subunit 3). Available with optional GFP reporter or cell-specific promoter.
Gene Reference Data
Alternate Names
BLOC2S3
Description (Vector)
This intronless gene encodes a protein that may play a role in organelle biogenesis associated with melanosomes, platelet dense granules, and lysosomes. This protein interacts with Hermansky-Pudlak syndrome 5 protein. Mutations in this gene are associated with Hermansky-Pudlak syndrome type 6.

About Storage Conditions
All our viral products should be kept at -80°C. At this temperature, the virus will remain stable for 6-12 months (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Once thawed, the product can be stored at 4°C for 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
We recommend aliquoting your vectors into low protein binding tubes upon receipt. This helps avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, as well as prevent loss of virus. To maintain accurate titer, aliquot in at least 20ul per tube.
